Therm-O-Disc, Inc, a business unit of Emerson is looking to hire a _full time, Project Engineer - Automotive_ in Muskegon, MI.
Job Requirements
_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_ :
Work with China Engineering Center (CEC) to develop the product designs, drawings, documents and testing required to support the projects.
Review, translate, and coordinate customer documents required to support the projects.
Develop project plans and work breakdown structures.
Develop standardized procedures and documents to support automotive projects globally.
Order products and materials as needed to support projects and customer preproduction orders.
Work with CEC to develop a global low cost automotive platform. This will require reviewing the global products being used by various automotive customers.
Review Engineering Change Notices (ECN's) and Temporary Engineering Changes (TEC's) for accuracy and completeness.
_JOB
Qualifications:_
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electric, material, or mechanical preferred) or related technology with one to two years experience in project management, engineering, engineering co-op programs, and/or other technical positions.
Driven to achieve results
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products or other productivity suites currently in use by the company.
Organizing and planning capabilities.
Analytical/judgment and decision making capability.
Ability to understand the customer technical requirements.
Adaptability and initiative.
