The Customer Experience Coordinator will be working closely with Project Coordinators, Estimators, and Designers to support Bold Furniture in pursuit of becoming a Manufacturer of Choice in our industry.
They will perform critical administrative duties and be vital in ensuring effective continuous improvement initiatives are executed.
The goal is to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and within an exceptional level of customer service.
To succeed in this role, the CEC should have excellent time management and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to process.
Job Duties:
Customer Engagement:
Build strong relationships with customers by providing timely, courteous, and personalized support via various communication channels, including phone, email and live chat.
Work with customers to develop project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Proactively reach out to customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Order Management:
Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling.
Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact project delivery.
Keep customers informed about the status of their orders and address any delays or discrepancies promptly.
Issue Resolution:
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
Investigate issues thoroughly, collaborate with relevant departments to find solutions, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty are maintained.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, design, and operations teams to align customer needs and expectations with business objectives.
Share customer insights and feedback to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Track milestone completion, accuracy, and overall project on-time delivery.
Generate regular reports and metrics on customer satisfaction and engagement to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, related field or 5
years of experience in the furniture industry.
Previous experience in customer service, account management, project coordination within the furniture manufacturing industry is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers of diverse backgrounds and personalities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency with computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office.
ERP databases (Epicor) experience preferred.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in furniture production is advantageous.
Proven ability to problem-solve, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing project requirements.
