55 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago The primary responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist will be to assist in reconciling inventory book balances in our ERP to cycle and physical counts.
This person will participate in daily and monthly physical inventory counts and help train plant and warehouse teams to ensure accuracy for all inventory transactions.
Additional $2.
00/hr shift differential for working 2nd or 3rd shift.
3-4 weeks of training on 1st shift may be required.
Essential Functions:
Required to conduct and be responsible for weekly inventory counts and monthly cycle counts Prepare daily reconciliation of cycle counts to our ERP inventory balances on SKUs that are counted for reporting to management and other teams.
Responsible for Raw Material spot checks.
Responsible for coordinating with the Buyer on all external shipments (ie Rejecting damaged goods, recording shortages, etc) Audits inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods Audits inventory transactions made by plant and warehouse to ensure the accuracy of inventory as recorded in our ERP Complete raw material inspections as required by the Quality team Records the disposal of raw materials or finished goods on a daily basis.
Assist with examining incoming raw materials to ensure accuracy to specs.
Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule required including holidays Associate's degree or 1 year relevant work experience preferred Preference is given to experience in accounting and inventory accounting.
Experience with an ERP system such as SAGE 100.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects at once, and manage time appropriately Ability to travel within a 2-mile radius between the plant and multiple warehouse locations Demonstrate understanding of the importance of being thorough and following through to completion Proficiency with full MS Office suite a must - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proactive and resourceful - strong ability to independently solve problems and make decisions Excellent mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret different units of measure This position offers competitive pay and excellent benefits with a Monday-Friday 40 to 45-hour work schedule.
Some weekends are possible.
