OT Overview:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials Housekeeping and sanitation Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrate abilities.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull for virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
Must be able to work in a wet environment.
Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
