Monday - Friday, Full Time, Day Shift Position
Summary:
Coordinates service line with Surgical Staff, Sterile Processing, Sales Representatives, Section Leader and Surgeons within the specialty.
Proficient in the duties of the Perioperative Nurse and performs a clinical role as needed.
Embraces and promotes system values to ensure customer satisfaction and excellence in patient care.
What the Perioperative Service Lead will need:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred:
BSN Current Michigan RN license.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
Preferred:
AORN Certification 2-3 years OR Nurse experience Strong knowledge and competency in performing nursing duties within the perioperative specialty.
What the Perioperative Service Lead will do:
Coordinates service line with Surgical Staff, Sterile Processing, Sales Representatives, Section Leader and Surgeons within the specialty.
Proficient in the duties of the Perioperative Nurse and performs a clinical role as needed.
Embraces and promotes system values to ensure customer satisfaction and excellence in patient care.
Liaison with surgeons regarding patient needs in the operating room environment.
Facilitates safe and reliable care for patients in this environment.
