1/2 Days on Friday! Job Purpose:
The HR Generalist will oversee the Human Resources department as a sole individual to position Bold Furniture as an Employer and Manufacturer of Choice.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking, creative, servant leader that is committed to the ongoing development of their department in alignment with overall organizational objectives.
An individual with exemplary levels of empathy, active listening, collaboration, and positivity will be critical for this role to maintain the fun-loving, enthusiastic, and safe culture that has been cultivated up to this point.
Job Duties:
Oversees Human Resource department to ensure compensation, recognition, training, performance management, and employee relations policies and procedures are in place that position Bold Furniture as the Employer of Choice for our area.
Ongoing and consistent management of required feedback, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, etc.
Manages Bold UIA (Unemployment Insurance Agency) Account, collecting adequate documentation to resolve unemployment disputes as necessary.
Facilitates all event planning, community outreach, and internal employee relations activities to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, with the support of the internal fun committee (Vibe Tribe).
Acts as the liaison between Bold Furniture and required external vendors including but not limited to:
insurance agency, retirement agency, work comp, & payroll, participating in annual review of all programs to make ongoing adjustments and improvements as necessary.
Performs Bi-weekly payroll processing through Paylocity platform, including configuration of wage garnishments, earnings, and deductions.
Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding of all hourly, salaried, temporary, and contract employees to support production demand.
Facilitates worker's compensation claims, including submission, disputes, and annual OSHA 300A reporting.
Maintains detailed work instructions for all job duties to assist in the event of vacation, leave of absence, etc.
Qualifications/Skills:
Exceptional servant leadership skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Outstanding time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Self-motivated, proactive mindset, and strong critical thinking skills Education/Training/Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources or related business field, and three (3) or more years human resources experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A high level of understanding of business law regulations at the state and national level.
SHRM certification preferred, but not required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
